So for this weeks blog, I will be discussing something that is not related to a place to eat in Chicago.
This week I wanted to discuss how water plays a major role when we think about our food. I know a lot of people don't really take their time and think about a comparison like this but i wanted to at least acknowledge it since its basically in our food whenever we eat. So how is water connected to our food? Well to begin with, Water can be used to affect the texture of most foods, such as making it juicy or soft. Whenever you are cooking and you have something dry on the pan, just add some water for moisture and texture. Also another reason why water is connected to food is because for many foods, such as meats, vegetables, seafood, and fruits are at least made up of 75% water. So not only can we use water when we cook, but water is already inside most of our daily foods we consume! Another reason why water is very important in our foods is because water is very important for our bodies. When we consume food, water is extracted and used in our bodies. Also, water is the main source of liquid we drink 24/7 to keep our bodies healthy! So to conclude this weeks blog, we can see why water and food play such a major role together! I know this isn't like a crazy informational blog, but I just wanted to give a quick learning experience on our blog post this week! Anyways thanks for tuning in this week and I hope you enjoyed it!
