Manny's Cafe is a staple in Chicago that has been around since shortly after World War II. Even when Manny’s opened its location 52 years ago, it was among the last of the unique style of urban eatery – the home style, family-run cafeteria bubbling with the spirit of its neighborhood and attracting patrons from all walks of life. In those early years, if you lived or worked anywhere in the vicinity you could hitch a ride on the Manny’s van that circled around making deliveries and picking up customers for lunch. The dining hall walls are filled with newspaper clippings about their Chicago history. Manny's has also been a staple for our past Presidents Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton. There are many other politicians that have dined at Manny's and their pictures are up on the walls of Manny's. This is an old school spot that everyone should stop by to get a slice of pie at the least! Who knows you may even run into some politicians!
