Coming to the big city of Chicago can be slightly overwhelming at first when trying to decide where to go, what to see, what pictures to take and of course, where to eat. There are so many types of restaurants in the city, but one of my personal favorite places to go is called “Broken English Taco Pub”. This is the place to go if you are in search of not only authentic Mexican food but also a lively space with artistic features making the taco pub very original.

This taco pub offers a quirky and unique experience to customers by providing a colorful and aesthetically pleasing environment through artwork and humorous neon signs. There is hardly a spot in the entire restaurant that wouldn't make for a great Instagram post.

Apart from the lively environment, their food also draws customers back in with their array of authentic tacos, mouth-watering quesadillas, and award-winning margaritas (for those 21+). When I was able to eat at The Loop location I was happily surprised by the presentation and taste of the quesadilla I ordered with my sister. Between the two of us, we were fully satisfied sharing just one order of that dish as well as an appetizer of nachos (as seen in video).
Between the two authentic foods we ordered, and the copious amount of art on the wall, both our eyes and stomachs were satisfied. I would recommend going to all three of the restaurants which are located in the loop, old town, and Lincoln Park!
