3 Arts Cafe

3 Arts Cafe is a hidden Chicago gem that not enough people have experienced. As seen in the picture below, this cafe, which is placed inside a Restoration Hardware, has both the delicious food and aesthetic look to please the eye. From the outside, it looks like any average building but as you venture further inside, there is more than what you could expect. Located off the Clark/Division stop on the red line, it is easily accessible and a perfect place to go visit during any weather Chicago throws at you.

This is not only a cafe, but a Restoration Hardware as well. For those who are not familiar with Restoration Hardware, it is a high end furniture store which sells everything from beds to sinks to couches. The ambiance in the building is a mix of modern and home-y that makes for a cozy feeling. There are a total of four floors and a rooftop which showcases their outdoor furniture sets. While waiting for your table (which I did there once for 3 hours) you are free to explore all their floors and take as many pictures as your heart desires. Once you get called to your table, there is another experience waiting for you.

There are a number of options on the menu which all fall under an "American" style. My personal favorites that I get are the Truffled Grilled Cheese, and the Caesar Salad. Although the food is overall on the pricier side, it is worth it for a special event. I have taken people here when they are visiting and for a birthday and it is worth both the wait and price. Overall, 3 Arts Cafe impresses with the presentation of the interior and food. I would recommend going here for a special event with friends or family, and even a day out where you would want to go and take pictures.
